How can I get rid of my flaking dandruff?

I wake up and shower everyday before school, and I am using this Green Tea shampoo that my hairdresser said is supposed to reduce dandruff. I don’t think it is working because I still have it. Anything else I can do that can get rid of all the flaking? Thanks!
